From there, Persephone and Demeter reach an agreement where Persephone must spend 6 months of the year on Olympus, and spend the rest of her time with her husband and son, and Demeter, humbled by having lost her daughter before due to her harsh treatment, seems to have softened up on Persephone significantly.
