Versus shows 2. The First Encounter HD returns no players. The Second Encounter HD returns no players. The First Encounter Original returns 3 players. The Second Encounter Original returns 7 players. Of course, it all depends. All of the games are a blast if you play single player, or with friends. I was never much of one to enjoy playing cooperative with randoms, anyway.
Those two are the best, and I'm not sure which one wins out for me. The ancient Egypt vibe is lovely, though. SSe1 is definitely worth your time. SS is primarily a sp franchise, is it not? I never even play online mp in FPSs, since it's basically been the same experience since DOOM, and I got that experience out of my system almost a decade ago. More interestingly, it finally allows Sam to aim down sights and sprint. Serious Sam 3: BFE also allows you to perform some amusing melee finishers on enemies. While all of the Serious Sam games included in this collection are huge amounts of fun when played alone, they really come into their own when played in co-op. Both online and split-screen co-op are available, and players can make their way through the campaigns or take on the standalone Survival mode.

HD First encounter and Second encounter, they have only one or two minor changes somewhere from the originals, otherwise much improved graphics. Third game is quite good, but the first 3 or 4 levels are a bit meh after you played them once, you'll be able to just run through them and they'll be fun still.
